short biography

I was born in Wenzhou, Zhejiang, China, and grew up at Shijiazhuang, Hebei, China. I earned my bachelor's degree major in Materials Science and Engineering at Xiamen University. Then I earned a master's degree at the University of Southern California. At USC, I worked with Dr. Yong Chen and Dr. Yang Yang in additive manufacturing projects. We were fabricating nacre-inspired multifunctional structures with improved mechanical/electrical/thermal properties. Right now I am co-advised by Dr. Zi-Kui Liu and Dr. Allison Beese.
