short biography
I am a 2019 Visiting Scholar. I obtained my M.Eng. degree in Materials Engineering at the University of Science and Technology (AGH) in Cracow with specialization in functional materials. During my master degree I spent one year at the University of Genoa in the metallurgy research group of Prof. Paolo Piccardo, where I was investigating the interaction between materials in solid oxide fuel cell stacks using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. I am currently in the second year of Ph.D. studies at the University of Genoa advised by Prof. Gabriele Cacciamani. My project concerns the development of a multicomponent thermodynamic database containing transition metals in the whole composition and temperature range following the CALPHAD method. The database will be used to design new high entropy alloys for high temperature industrial applications.
