short biography
As an undergraduate I used X-ray diffraction to study the crystallography of salts and developed a prototype automated dredging device to remove solid accumulation from an evaporation pond for a local power generating station. After graduating, I conducted research at Lawrence Livermore National Lab in Volumetric Additive Manufacturing of glass and development of a self-driving lab through a combination of machine learning and collaborative robotics. My main goal is to expand the realm of physics within material science and connect theory with experiment across fields. Now at Penn State I am using zentropy theory to predict properties of magnetic and superconducting materials ab initio.
