short biography
I was born in Lima, Peru and moved to the United States at the age of 11. I did my undergraduate studies at University of Connecticut where I conducted research under both Dr. Yu Lei and Dr. Rainer Hebert. My work under Dr. Yu Lei involved electrospinning and sensors of moisture, while under Dr. Rainer Hebert I investigated mainly additive manufacturing of steel and aluminum alloys. My current research involves using CALPHAD and DFT for predicting the thermodynamic stability of thermoelectric materials at different conditions.
