short biography
The areas of my research include thermodynamic modeling and mechanical property modeling of materials. I am keenly interested in materials design that enables to predict materials’ properties. For example, I have developed hardness models such as the model for both brittle and ductile materials and the model as a function of temperature and grain size. The current work is expected to contribute to the future design of materials, including lightweight magnesium alloys, in terms of phase stability and mechanical properties.
